No matter what the reason is for not eating dairy, if it’s an intolerance, allergy or just choice, even if you usually eat dairy and just want to try something different. This dairy free/vegan parmesan alternative consists of just a few ingredients and is very easy to make and ready within minutes. But you will need a food processor for this one, a vitamix might work as well, but other smoothie makers won’t.
Never again pasta without parmesan! It even works without dairy!
Easy Vegan Cashew ‘Parmesan’
- 150 g (5.3 oz) cashews_
- 20 g (2 ⅓ tbsp) nutritional yeast flakes_
- 1 tsp salt_
- ⅜ tsp garlic granules_
- Put all the ingredients into a food processor.
- Mix until resembling fine breadcrumbs.
- Store in a jar at room temperature.
