- 1000g (2.2 lbs) Chicken Wings
- 2 tbsp Oil ghee, tallow or coconut oil
- 2 bay leaves optional
Cut the wings in half, if desired.
Heat the fat in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken wings to the pan and fry them until they are golden brown on both sides.
Preheat the oven to 200° C (390° F).
Once the chicken wings are browned, transfer them to an oven dish.
In a small bowl, combine the spices thoroughly.
Sprinkle the spice mix over the chicken wings in the oven dish.
Pour the remaining fat from the pan over the wings and add a bay leaf for added flavor.
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes or until they are crispy and fully cooked.
