Deliciously creamy homemade hot chocolate
Ingredients
- 440 ml (15.49 fl oz) milk of choice_ plant based or animal based
- 32 g (1.13 oz) dark chocolate 70 – 80 %_ i use 78%
Instructions
Milk Frother
- If you have a milk frother with chocolate mode, you can add milk and chocolate, press the button and your hot chocolate will be ready in no time.
- Pour into cups and enjoy!
Stove Top
- Heat up the milk with the chocolate on the stove, the chocolate does not have to be fineley chopped, large pieces will also melt eventually from the heat.
- Once it's hot remove the heat and stir. If the chocolate hasn't completely melted yet, let it rest for a couple of minutes and stir again.
- Pour into cups and enjoy!
Notes
Add some sugar if needed, since the sugar content of different plant based milks and chocolate varies. I use aplro gluten free oat barista with 4g sugar per 100ml.
